SCULPTURE BY FELIX KIESSLING@ The Enviornmental Ministry’s Lobby in Berlin

RoleBackend EngineerTechnologies Python, AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB), Serverless, MQTTDate 2024

I architected and built a data processing system for Felix Kiessling’s new sculpture, which will live in the entrance of the German Environmental Ministry's new Berlin building. His sculpture reflects Earth’s Schumann Frequency in real time as it changes throughout the day. Many think this frequency is important to the wellbeing of humans and animals. When our brains are in tune with the Schumann Resonance, it has positive effects like promoting cell regeneration and lowering stress.

The system I built receives data from a bespoke antenna, which is monitoring the Schumann Frequency. It processes and transforms the data before sending it to the lamp.
